Graduation

Danny and I will both be graduating from undergrad college this weekend!! It's so hard to believe that 4 years has gone by so quickly!! I know we will both miss all of our friends after graduation. It's such a mix of feelings for me at least to be graduating. Danny still has at least two more graduations ahead of him in his educational career. Me however, unless I decide at some point to go back to school this will be my final graduation!
Earlier in the week I couldn't wait to be done with finals and be done with everything. No more tests for the rest of my life! Can't beat that!!! However, when I woke up this morning it felt like a smack in the face when I finally realized this is it! No more being in school, I'll actually have to be a "real grown up". While I'm excited and looking forward to this new chapter in my life I can't deny that facing it for real is slightly intimidating. Danny is much more optimistic than I am and tells me to embrace this new exciting stage. For him its exciting to be graduating, to be moving to a new home in Texas, and to be starting a new chapter in our lives. Yes it is very exciting, but I like to have somewhat of a general idea of what I'll be doing-which I don't. I need to learn to go with the flow more I suppose!
Hence the inspiration for starting this blog. Among the many new changes that goes along with graduating, Danny and I will also be moving out of the state and leaving both of our families behind. We will be our own family..along with our caravan of animals making our own mark in Texas. Despite being excited for this new chapter in our lives together (especially as husband and wife!!!) it's sad leaving our families behind and it's going to be hard being further away from them. I want to stay in touch with everyone as best we can, with not only our families but our friends as well. What better way than a blog about our new adventures together!! :)
Perhaps I won't be the best at updating it..and I will try my hardest to not fill it up with senseless wedding talk :) but I can't wait to see what types of adventures we fill this blog with as we start our lives together and in a new state! It will probably be crazy and exciting, as most things usually are in life, but it sure will be one heck of an adventure! :)
